I needed something awesome to blog about today. It has been a really rough week for me, not going to lie (yup, I wear my bleeding heart on my sleeve, sometimes it’s my curse). There was a tragedy in my family but it opened my eyes up a bit. Along with a few other personal issues I have going on…we need to love more intentionally. I know, I don’t usually get this deep on posts…but maybe I should. I want to love more intentionally. I pour my heart and soul into things that sometimes don’t matter, or make a difference. I want to make a difference in others’ lives. I want to love my neighbor, hard. I want to spread joy. In doing so, I know it’ll open my heart even more and hopefully that will catch on to others and spread like wildfire. Ya know?
That does bring me to this sweet family. Right before Christmas last year I raffled off a family session for a military family at Camp Pendleton. The O family won and it was such a pleasure getting to know them a little in front of my lens. Harley and Shaylee and their three GORGEOUS little girls were so fun to photograph, we had a great time at this beautiful location on base. I totally want to go back, how AMAZING is that barn? Wow. This session makes me smile so hard. I hope they know how much I appreciate them, serving and giving your life to the military is not an easy task. I always have a soft spot for these families who give their ALL. Not just Harley, but Shaylee and the girls too. THANK YOU family for all you do. I hope this session brings you much love and happiness for many years. So happy to do it!
Thought of the day: How can you be intentional in the way you love someone today? xo
I would LOVE to do another photo session at this location, if you are interested in booking your family session here (and are military), let’s chat soon.
